When I try opening the program it doesn’t work. Is something missing?
is the live.dll file in the same folder? Try changing the applocale as well, even though it is in english, the original is japanese.
I’m getting the exact same issue. The Applocale is fine, and the dll file is in the same place, but it just doesn’t load. After the error message is closed, it opens up this small, black screen which stays there until you close it.
I tried it in English and Japanese for AppLocale and even switched the regional locale on my computer between the two. It still gives the same result.
Does having Windows 10 change anything?

First rename the folder to something simples like Game or Lagoon
Second seach in youtube How to play Japanese games on Windows 10
This video has a program that works like applocale but it runs in windows 10.
Try changing the folder name to something simpler e.g. “game”
For me it seems to work until I choose options or load and new game just leads to a black screen. Any idea what the problem is?

I am using applocale set to Japanese and my region and language settings are also for Japan…
